10 For Change challenges Boulder businesses to demonstrate leadership in environmental performance. Since joining 10 For Change, HBC has enhanced its efforts to reduce its use of paper products, energy, water, plastic goods and other resources. Many HBC employees use alternative transportation to reach the office. We regularly assess our progress toward reducing use of natural resources at our workplace.

HBC is also participating in the multi-week Sustainable Systems at Work roundtable offered by the Boulder Chamber of Commerce. That program examines characteristics of sustainability and technologies and strategies to achieve workplace sustainability.
