Colleen Koch joined Hutchinson Black and Cook in 2017, after spending two summers with the firm as a summer associate.  Her practice focuses on general civil litigation, including personal injury, business disputes, and real estate litigation. Since joining Hutchinson Black and Cook, Colleen has represented clients on a wide variety of matters, including trying an adverse possession case.  During law school, Colleen was the Managing Editor of the University of Colorado Law Review as well as a Teaching Assistant for Civil Procedure. 

Prior to law school, Colleen taught middle and high school English in both Ohio and Virginia, during which time she also presented at several Virginia teachers' conferences on topics such as teenage literacy and integrated leadership.

Outside of work, Colleen enjoys hiking with her family and two Shelties; sampling the local craft beers; skiing; and biking.  Colleen is an avid reader who is always looking for a good book recommendation.
