Hutchinson Black and Cook Welcomes Mike Thomson

Hutchinson Black and Cook LLC is pleased to announce that Mike Thomson has joined the firm as Of Counsel. Mike has extensive experience handling serious personal injury and wrongful death matters, including automobile and trucking accidents, product liability claims, civil rights cases, traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury litigation, and other high-stakes disputes.

Throughout his career, Mike has earned a reputation as a dedicated advocate and accomplished trial lawyer, with extensive experience in both state and federal courts. He has successfully handled high-stakes litigation and is deeply committed to securing justice for his clients.

Before joining HBC, Mike was a partner at Purvis Thomson, LLC, where he spent more than 20 years representing injured individuals across Colorado. He has served as lead counsel in numerous complex cases, including product liability and wrongful death actions, securing meaningful results for his clients while earning the respect of colleagues and the courts.

A graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law, Mike has longstanding ties to the Boulder community. In addition to his legal practice, he has been actively involved in public service and community advocacy throughout his career, including serving previously as the Director of Community Relations for Boulder Valley School District.
