Bill Meyer wins domain name dispute before WIPO in Geneva

In proceedings before the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Bill Meyer successfully defended our client against a claim seeking transfer of the client’s domain name to the complainant. Bill established, and the WIPO Panel found, (a) that the complainant had no protectable trademark rights in the domain name; (b) that our client had established rights or legitimate interests in that name; and (c) that our client did not register and uses the name in bad faith. The Panel accordingly refused the request to transfer.  For more information: http://www.wipo.int/amc/en/domains/decisions/html/2006/d2006-0648.html
