Ashlyn Hare joined Hutchinson Black and Cook in 2023 where her law practice focuses on Sports Law and Title IX litigation. 

As a Summer Associate in 2022 and 2021 for Hutchinson Black and Cook, Ashlyn worked on complex litigation issues including Title IX, contract, business, property, and immigration matters, including drafting a successful opposition to a motion for summary judgment in a breach of contract case involving over $4 million in damages.

Ashlyn leverages her experience as a former Division 1 Track and Field athlete at the University of Oregon to advise clients in the Sports Law practice group. As a former college athlete, Ashlyn is able to effectively connect with a wide variety of people in the sports industry. She was on the Board of the University of Oregon’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and served on the Pac-12 Student Athlete Advisory Committee where she advised Pac-12 executives on name, image, and likeness reform and mental health initiatives. 

Prior to law school, Ashlyn worked at Nike World Headquarters in Marketing Operations where she created and launched personalized digital marketing campaigns. During law school, Ashlyn was the Editor in Chief for the Sports & Entertainment Law Journal and the Vice President of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, as well as a Teaching Assistant to Professor Suzanna Moran.

Outside of work, Ashlyn enjoys hiking with her dogs, coaching track and field, weightlifting, and reading.
