Experience

A partner at HBC since 2000, Brendan Chatham’s practice entails acting as “virtual” general counsel to entrepreneurs and start-ups and emerging and established companies in a wide variety of businesses and industries, including:

  • aerospace

  • asset-based lending and finance

  • real estate investment and development

  • green and clean energy

  • professional services

  • hardware and software technology

  • health care services

  • sports products

  • sports organizations

  • charitable organizations

  • restaurants

  • food-branded products

  • retail

  • manufacturing

Brendan is primarily known for two unique professional qualities that his clients find valuable. First, he adheres to a “founder-centric” philosophical approach with respect to representing the interests of entrepreneurs in all manner of transactions. Also, he has a penchant for successfully consummating “outside-the-box” capital structures and investment transactions, as well as “outside-the-box” business relationships and exit transactions for which there is little to no precedent in the marketplace.

Prior to joining the firm, he worked as in house counsel for local Boulder companies Leasetec Corporation and Schwinn Cycling & Fitness Inc.
