Experience

Brendan Chatham joined HBC in 2000. Prior to joining the firm, he represented locally-based companies, Leasetec Corporation and Schwinn Cycling & Fitness Inc. on an in-house counsel basis. Since joining the firm, Brendan’s practice has evolved to entail acting as "virtual" general counsel to entrepreneurs and established small and emerging companies in a wide variety of businesses and industries, including "green" and clean energy, asset-based lending and finance, hardware and software technology, professional services, health care, real estate investment and development, marijuana, manufacturing and retail industries.

Brendan is primarily known for two distinct professional qualities that are a bit off the map. First, he adheres to a “founder-centric” philosophical approach to representing the interests of entrepreneurs in all manner of transactions. Also, he has a knack for successfully consummating “outside the box” transactions for which there is little to no precedent in the marketplace.
